Why Start Your Own Business?
It’s early August 2022, and one of my businesses is starting to lose revenue. The time I spent on this business is becoming frustrating and always seems like busy work with not much reward to show for it all. I knew deep down it was time to venture out and continue my life as an entrepreneur in another field/industry besides online business coaching… but where to start?
For the past 4 years I had been following Knockerball USA’s Instagram page but never took action to find out what it takes and what is needed to become a Knockerball owner; at this point it was no more than a fun and exciting page I followed. That all changed one glorious morning while I was laying in bed daydreaming about doing ANYTHING else than my current profession of choice.
Today was the day, it was time for a change. I did not know where, when, or how but I knew deep down there was something better out there for me. Little did I know that my life was about to change that day. While scrolling on my personal Instagram page I see a video of people playing soccer (my favorite sport)... but they were in bubbles?! What the heck is this and how can I get in on it?! Could this be my next journey? Time to take that leap of faith and message the page.
Shortly after speaking with the CEO, I knew I was going to do whatever it took to be a part of this company and give it my absolute all when I started. Fast forward just a just a short 5 weeks after sending that message and BOOM! I now have my very own Knockerball equipment being delivered to my door! It was game time and there was no turning back. It was game time!
It has now been 8 months since I sent that message to Bill and if I were to type out all of the milestones my business Appalachian Knockerball has blown past, it would take another page or text to show it! I am blown away by the amount of support the KB Nation has shown me in this beginning stage of this journey and I am excited to be able to return the favor to the new owners when they join! I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year has in store.
Oh yeah, one last thing! I do need to say the only regret I have when it comes to being a Knockerball owner… I regret that I DID NOT start sooner! That’s it.
